Join us for our next Dorchester Dementia Friendly Cinema screening on Thursday 24th September at 11:30am, where we'll be showing the much-loved classic The Sound of Music. 🎶🌄

Whether you know every word to Do-Re-Mi or simply enjoy a heartwarming morning out, we'd love to welcome you. Our dementia-friendly screenings are relaxed, inclusive, and a wonderful opportunity to enjoy a classic film in the company of others.

It would be so lovely to see familiar faces again and to welcome anyone joining us for the first time.

🎬 What a wonderful afternoon at our Home Instead Dorchester Dementia Friendly Cinema on 28th May! 💜

A huge thank you to everyone who joined us and helped make it such a special community event. It was fantastic to see so many people come together to enjoy an afternoon of connection, conversation and entertainment in a welcoming, dementia-friendly environment. Mamma Mia was the perfect film for the occasion and it was good to hear so many people singing along to the music and feeling the emotions! ☺️

We were especially delighted to welcome the Mayor and Mayoress of Dorchester and are so grateful for their support in helping champion dementia-friendly communities.

At Home Instead Dorchester, we are passionate about creating opportunities that bring people together, reduce isolation and help make Dorchester a truly dementia-friendly place to live. Events like these show just how important community connection can be — not only for those living with dementia, but for families, friends and carers too.
