We're on our summer break, but our friends at Crediton Heart Project are organising a FREE screening of Wonka this Saturday in Newcombes Meadow. Food stalls from 4pm, Film starts 6pm. We'll see you there!

Wow! What an epic avian-themed week at Films for Crediton! We concluded our Summer Season with a double bill: a matinee viewing of Rio with Crediton Youth Service followed by Andrea Arnold's Bird in the evening.

We loved the relaxed atmosphere of our Rio screening and hope the rest of the audience enjoyed the film as much as we did. It put us in a great mood for Bird which was an altogether more challenging film! Our evening audience rated it an average of 4.75 stars out of 5. They praised the strong performances and powerful storytelling.

We're taking a break in August but will be back with more indie films in the autumn, starting with the rescheduled The Worst Person in the World. See you on Thursday 24th September for pudding and a film 🍿

This week at Crediton Arts Centre! Marking her long-awaited return to fiction filmmaking, Andrea Arnold’s tender and surprising coming-of-age fable heralds an astounding debut from newcomer Nykiya Adams. Bird (15) leaps from overlooked fringes of life toward sky-high dreams.
