Warwick Student Cinema

Warwick Student Cinema Warwick Student Cinema is the largest society on campus, and is run entirely by student volunteers.

With sound and picture rivalling commercial cinemas and a diverse schedule of films showing 4-6 nights a week, it's a great way to spend your evening! Warwick Student Cinema (WSC) is the student run cinema at the University of Warwick, operating out of a 336 person capacity lecture theatre, and is currently the only UK film society with the capability to show 70 mm film. The Society seeks to show

films to members of Warwick University (anybody holding a current University card) for cinematic value only, and as such runs as a Non for Profit Organisation. Between January 2004 and March 2010, over 18,300 different people have attended WSC, not including the free Outdoor Screenings each year.

Joe Gideon is a brilliant theatre director and choreographer who seems to have everything under control… as long as you don’t count the pills, the chain-smoking, the broken relationships, orrrr the tiny little inconvenience of his body giving up on him.

All That Jazz starts out like a sharp, funny showbiz musical, then slowly turns into something much darker about trying to dance your way through ego and burnout.

🔥 HARD BOILED 🔫

A cop who loses his partner in a shoot-out with gun smugglers goes on a mission to catch them. In order to get closer to the leaders of the ring he joins forces with an undercover cop who’s working as a gangster hitman. They use all means of excessive force to find them.
Hard Boiled is impossibly cool and perfectly paced - we’re serving up a nearly hour-long hospital climax of fire and bullet holes.
