SUPPORT LOCAL with us!

We will be at the Shop Local festival this weekend, the largest grassroots music festival for miles and miles in every direction!

Just like our outdoor cinema events at the weekend, the weather looks not great, not terrible but that didn’t stop most of you coming out to have the BEST time.

If it rains, whack your Parkas on and come listen to the BEST local music there is. When the sun comes out you can use the Parka as a pillow. Bosh.

We will be sticking a camera in some of your faces and asking you what your favourite music themed films are and who knows, might even be giving out some free tickets to a CineShow.

So bag your tickets and get yourselves at Shop Local

EVENT UPDATE:

There is no local food vendor at tonight’s screening so one this one occasion you are free to bring your own picnic. Hot dogs, waffles and popcorn will be sold from the bar/cafe all evening.

Strictly no alcohol or glass to be brought into site.

Owing to a scheduling conflict we no longer have a food vendor at this event so on this occasion you CAN bring a picnic, Hot Dogs, Waffles and Popcorn will be served from the cafe/bar.

Strictly no glass or alcohol to be brought on site.

Wow, Grimsby you outdid yourselves.

Despite the monsoon in the afternoon hundreds of you came out to celebrate all things Greased Lightning ⚡️

We’d like to thank our crew for going above and beyond to work hard and adapt very quickly to make sure a great night was had.

Danielle Brett and our cast members who worked tirelessly not just on the night but weeks before in rehearsals to make sure everyone got an amazing live performance.

Alice Murray for being both cast and crew, somehow nailing both with what seemed like ease under very difficult circumstances.

To the staff on the bars and Lincs Inspire staff you all deserve medals for your huge efforts on the night.

Paul Cook for providing the best food in town under incredibly difficult conditions. But once they got fired up there was no looking back. Compliments to the chefs 😘

And finally a MASSIVE thank you to the people of Grimsby who not only came out on a chilly evening but brought the energy.

Grease was the word.

Moonwalker is the word tonight as we do it all again to celebrate the music of the one and only, Michael Jackson. 🧤

Weather update for tonight’s event.

We appreciate and share any concerns regarding the current weather so we will be updating you as often as possible this evening.

Owing to the fact that the weather currently looks like it will be ok to go ahead DURING the event itself, tonight’s screening WILL BE GOING AHEAD.

We have also conducted a safety review and there are no concerns there, viewing will be taking place from track not the grass area and lights will be kept on at the entrance during the event.

We have moved our doors open back and advise arriving between 6:30pm and 8pm although you are more than welcome to join us at 6pm at regular time.

Please dress for the weather and be sure to bring something to sit on if you haven’t booked a chair or beanbag from us.

If anything changes we will update you all immediately.

IMPORTANT INFORMATION ON THIS WEEKENDS SHOWS

SECURITY & ITEMS ON SITE
Strictly NO GLASS, ALCOHOL OR MEALS may be brought onto the site.

SEALED SOFT DRINKS & SNACKS ARE ALLOWED, including items such as crisps and sweets.

There will be DJ entertainment, outdoor activities and local food & drink vendors available throughout the evening.

TICKETS
This is a TICKET ONLY event — THERE WILL BE NO PAY ON THE GATE.

BAR PAYMENTS
Card payments are accepted. Cash payments must be the correct amount.

WEATHER

We are in Britain… so unfortunately, a little rain is always a possibility! ☔

Rain is currently not forecast during the event, but please come prepared for the expected weather conditions.

As with any outdoor cinema, we do not cancel simply because of rain. The event will only be cancelled if the Met Office predicts weather conditions that are considered unsafe.

Please check the forecast before you travel and dress appropriately.

Evenings can get chilly, so PLEASE BRING WARM CLOTHING.

If you haven’t booked one of our deckchairs or beanbags, please remember to BRING YOUR OWN CHAIR.

The grass may be wet, so something waterproof to sit on is also recommended.

IMPORTANT!

Due to low ticket sales for our screening of Rocky on the 22nd August there has been a change to our programming.

We will now be screening the 80s Classic Moonwalker on that date. Tickets can be found at www.cineshow.co.uk

If you purchased a ticket for Rocky your refund will be already on its way to you so please purchase a new ticket if you wish to attend the Moonwalker screening. Your old ticket will not be valid.
