Chatteris Community Cinema Chatteris Community Cinema is based in the King Edward Centre in Chatteris. Keep checking our status for news on our screenings.

It is run by volunteers and it aims to show, on a monthly basis, a wide range of films to appeal to all tastes. We usually show 2 movies each month, a matinee for families and a movie in the evening for adults. We also have special screenings, if you have a film you'd like to see and we can sell enough tickets to cover costs then we're happy to screen it!

Happy New Year from all at CCC! We are back on Saturday Jan 10th, with The Ballad of Wallis Island, the story of Charles (Tim Key), an eccentric lottery winner who lives alone on a remote island and dreams of getting his favorite musicians, McGwyer Mortimer (Carey Mulligan and Tom Basden) back together. His fantasy quickly turns into reality when the bandmates and former lovers accept his invitation to play a private show at his home on Wallis Island. Our next movie is 'The Penguin Lessons', showing on Saturday October 11th at 3pm and 7:30pm. Based on a true story, it stars Steve Coogan as a disillusioned Englishman who went to work in a school in Argentina in 1976. Expecting an easy ride, he discovers a divided nation and a class of unteachable students. However, after he rescues a penguin from an oil-slicked beach, his life is turned upside-down.
