That sounds like a perfect fit for Jane McDonald! She's such a warm and engaging presenter, and her trademark charm will surely make Jane McDonald’s Nashville a fun, lively exploration of Music City. Nashville is such an iconic place with its deep music roots, rich history, and vibrant food scene, so it’s great to hear that she’ll be showcasing all of that. From the famous music venues like the Grand Ole Opry and Ryman Auditorium to the local hidden gems, there’s so much for her to discover—and for viewers to enjoy alongside her.

The two-part format will be great for diving deep into both the sights and sounds of Nashville while allowing for a personal touch, as Jane builds her own must-see list. I’m sure there will be lots of moments where her enthusiasm for the city and its culture shines through, especially with her love of music. Plus, who doesn't love a bit of Nashville country warmth?

The fact that it's set to air next year on 5 makes it something to look forward to—especially if you're a fan of travel shows or just love Nashville’s vibe. Are you a fan of Jane McDonald's other travel specials? Do you think she’ll be in her element exploring the musical heart of the U.S.?

Big Mood sounds like a deeply emotional and thought-provoking series, especially with such strong performances from Nicola Coughlan and Lydia West. The exploration of bipolar disorder through Maggie’s character adds a layer of complexity to the dynamic between her and Eddie. Maggie’s struggles with her mental health and the impact on her long-time friendship really highlight how life changes as you grow older and realize relationships can shift—sometimes for better, sometimes for worse.

Nicola Coughlan is such a versatile actress, and her role in Derry Girls showed her ability to balance humor and depth, so I’m excited to see her tackle something more serious here. Lydia West, too, is fantastic, and her work in It's a Sin proved she can bring raw emotion to a role. It seems like this series is going to blend the heavy with the relatable, exploring not just mental health, but also the challenges that come with figuring out who you are in your twenties.

With the show being available on Tubi for free (with ads), it’s a great opportunity for viewers to dive into something fresh and meaningful without the barrier of subscription fees. Have you checked out Big Mood yet, or is this something you're thinking of watching?

It looks like Celebrity Big Brother 2025 is already heating up with Chris Hughes emerging as the early frontrunner! His popularity from Love Island combined with his role as an ITV racing presenter makes him a familiar face to many, so it’s no surprise he's making waves already. Chris has a pretty solid fan base, and his charismatic personality could be key to keeping him in the spotlight as the competition unfolds.

Danny Beard, known for their time on RuPaul's Drag Race UK, and Jack P. Shepherd from Coronation Street are also strong contenders. Both bring unique personalities to the table—Danny’s fierce confidence and Jack’s charm from his long-running soap role are sure to keep things interesting in the house. This trio of frontrunners seems like a great mix of different backgrounds, which could make for some intense dynamics as the show progresses.

With the competition already looking tough, it’s going to be exciting to see how things develop! Do you think Chris will hold onto his lead, or do you have a favorite among the early contenders?

The Split Up sounds like it's going to be a gripping continuation of the world that The Split created! The focus on the powerful Kishan family and their high-stakes divorce law practice in Manchester has all the ingredients for a compelling drama—family secrets, power dynamics, and the tension of maintaining a professional reputation while facing personal turmoil.

The fact that this spin-off is diving into a long-hidden family secret adds an intriguing layer to the story, suggesting that the drama will be just as emotionally charged as the original show, if not more so. The legal world combined with family drama always makes for great storytelling, and it seems like The Split Up is going to delve deeper into the complications of both.

Filming starting in October is exciting news, and the series airing on BBC One and iPlayer gives it a great platform to reach a wide audience. Fans of the original The Split will definitely be eager to see how the Kishan family’s story unfolds. Are you a fan of the original series? Does the concept of The Split Up have you intrigued?

he Madison sounds like it’s shaping up to be a major hit, especially with Taylor Sheridan at the helm! Known for his work on Yellowstone, Sheridan has a knack for creating tense, high-stakes dramas with rich characters and gripping storylines. Paramount+ releasing “breathtaking” first-look images already sets the bar high, and the anticipation is definitely building.

The show, if it’s anything like Yellowstone, will likely offer a mix of drama, intense action, and complex character dynamics. Sheridan’s ability to craft morally gray characters and build tension in the narrative makes his shows really stand out. Plus, if these first-look images are any indication, The Madison is going to be visually stunning, which is always a good sign for a drama.

Do you think it’ll have that same blend of grit and beauty like Yellowstone? Are you excited to see what Taylor Sheridan does next, especially with a new setting or storyline?

That’s exciting news for Death in Paradise! Siobhan Finneran joining the cast is a big win—she’s such a talented actress, and her role in Happy Valley really showed her range. It’ll be interesting to see what kind of character she plays on the sunny yet mysterious island of Saint Marie. The show always brings in a solid lineup of guest stars, which keeps things fresh and adds new dynamics to the island’s investigations.

With the unique combination of light-heartedness, beautiful settings, and engaging murder mysteries, Death in Paradise has found its niche as a perfect mix of drama and fun. Finneran’s involvement is a great way to amp up the intrigue in the upcoming season, especially with her knack for playing complex and nuanced roles. I can already imagine the suspense she’ll bring to a Death in Paradise case!

Yes! Silent Witness is back, and it sounds like this new series is shaping up to be a thrilling continuation of the iconic crime drama. With Emilia Fox and David Caves returning as Nikki Alexander and Jack Hodgson, fans are in for another round of gripping cases and emotional storylines. The Lyell Centre crew has been a staple of the show for so long now, so it’s great to see familiar faces back in action as they tackle even more complex forensic investigations.

The format of releasing all ten episodes on BBC iPlayer every Monday before they air on BBC One gives fans the freedom to binge-watch or savor the episodes week by week—either way, there's no shortage of drama. Heading into its 29th series, Silent Witness continues to prove its staying power, offering fresh and engaging cases while delving deeper into the personal lives of its characters. It’s one of those shows where the blend of procedural and emotional depth keeps you hooked season after season.

With the new series kicking off on February 2nd, it’s the perfect time for fans old and new to get back into the mystery-filled world of Silent Witness. Are you excited for the new season? Do you have any favorite episodes or characters from the show?

The possibility of Little Britain making a return, especially in a streaming format, is seriously exciting! David Walliams’ hint that the show could evolve beyond traditional TV makes a lot of sense. Streaming platforms like Netflix offer a freedom that network TV can’t match, especially when it comes to pushing boundaries with content. Walliams is spot-on about how comedy has shifted, with audiences now having full control over what they watch and when they watch it.

The idea of Little Britain finding a new home on streaming could allow for a more mature, unrestricted version that embraces the kind of edgy humor that made the original so iconic. Plus, Walliams’ point about not being "canceled" on platforms like Netflix gives them the creative freedom to really experiment. With a built-in fan base and the current trend of bringing back beloved series in new formats, this could be a major hit, especially for longtime fans who miss the show’s absurd, boundary-pushing antics.

It’s also interesting that Walliams is still focused on writing books. That gives him a lot of creative outlets to explore, but a Little Britain comeback could offer a great balance between his work as an author and his comedic roots. If the show comes back, do you think it will be the same type of sketches, or would they evolve to fit the current comedic landscape?

Amanda Holden on The Celebrity Traitors sounds like it would be a blast! It’s no surprise she’s keen to join, especially after supporting her friend Alan Carr’s win last year. Amanda’s personality and quick wit would make her a fun addition to the show, and the idea of her being a Faithful adds an interesting dynamic. Her honest approach to not wanting to be duplicitous could make her stand out in a sea of potential Traitors.

Her excitement about the show, combined with the fact that she’s already thinking through her strategy, shows she’s really into it. I can see her being a real fan favorite if she does sign on. It’ll be interesting to see if her busy schedule with TV and radio commitments will allow it, though. The Celebrity Traitors is a perfect fit for someone like Amanda, who thrives in high-energy, unpredictable environments.

If she does make it, I imagine her interactions with the other celebrities will be hilarious and tense—especially if she really plays the Faithful card. Do you think she’ll actually manage to keep her hands clean in a game full of deception?

Agatha Christie’s Seven Dials (2026) is a fresh take on Christie’s novel The Seven Dials Mystery, set in 1925 England. The story begins with a playful prank at a country house that goes horribly wrong, setting off a chain of mysterious events. Lady Eileen “Bundle” Brent, portrayed by Mia McKenna-Bruce, takes matters into her own hands, determined to solve the puzzle behind the chaos. The series weaves in Christie’s signature blend of suspense and clever twists, making it an exciting addition for fans of classic whodunits.

The cast brings a mix of established and rising stars to the table, with Martin Freeman as the no-nonsense Superintendent Battle and Helena Bonham Carter as Bundle’s eccentric mother, Lady Caterham. Freeman’s dry wit and Bonham Carter’s offbeat charm promise to add depth and humor to the show’s dynamics. Supporting roles from Edward Bluemel, Nyasha Hatendi, and Alex Macqueen further enrich the ensemble, offering a range of characters with distinct personalities, all adding intrigue to the unfolding mystery.

Set against the backdrop of 1920s English society, the series captures the period’s aesthetic while maintaining the sharpness and wit of Christie’s writing. The three-part mystery is streaming now on Netflix, and it promises to be a thrilling ride for anyone who enjoys a mix of mystery, character-driven drama, and a touch of humor. If you’re a fan of classic Christie adaptations, this new take offers both familiarity and excitement with a modern twist.

Astrid Season 5 dives deeper into intense espionage and criminal investigations, as Astrid Nielsen continues to lend her unique pattern-spotting skills to Detective Raphaëlle Coste. Their partnership is tested as they uncover complex cases that reveal much more than expected. With espionage plots and shadowy figures on the horizon, the stakes have never been higher for the duo.

As the season progresses, familiar characters and storylines weave through the intense investigations. Fans of the series will enjoy seeing how long-running mysteries continue to unfold in the background. The dynamic between Astrid and Raphaëlle remains a standout, offering a blend of suspense and emotional depth.

Meanwhile, the UK adaptation Patience sets a similar stage, this time in the historic city of York. Patience Evans, a criminal records expert, teams up with Detective Inspector Bea Metcalf to crack intricate cases. Both series offer sharp mysteries with strong central characters, making them perfect for fans of cerebral crime dramas.

That sounds like it could be a fun twist on Doc Martin! The premise of a tough, no-nonsense doctor in a quirky small town seems like it would still work, especially with Josh Charles in the lead. His dry delivery could be a perfect fit for the role of Dr. Martin Best. I imagine the dynamic between him and Abigail Spencer’s character, Louisa, will be similar to the original show’s balance of comedy and tension.

It’s always interesting to see how a show adapts to a different setting, like moving from Cornwall to Maine. The cultural differences between England and the U.S. should provide plenty of new material for humor, especially with that classic “doctor who doesn’t know how to interact with people” angle.
