We are a friendly local film society that welcomes anyone who enjoys going to the movies. In partnership with The Hunter Club in Bury St Edmunds, we screen twelve films from September to May each year. We enjoy first-class projection facilities including an extra large screen for that BIG MOVIE effect! We have exclusive use of a bar, which opens at 6.15 pm, prior to film screenings which start at
7pm on Sundays. All films are introduced by a member, perhaps discussing the stars, the director or the theme of the movie. And there may be a brief discussion afterwards, since we aim to add to everyone's knowledge about each film and how and why it was made. But don't panic; these are not stuffy, academic introductions and talks, simply people that love movies sharing their views!
