Seventyseven Film Club seventyseven is a Bristol based film club dedicated to silent, indie, cult, trash, experimental and world cinema.

Seventyseven is a new Monday evening film club held at the Southbank Club, Bristol. We run two bi-weekly film nights: one dedicated to the silent era, showing anything from slapstick comedy to German Expressionism and the Soviet Montage school; one dedicated to indie, cult, trash, experimental and world cinema, showing anything from American indie cinema to the works of Japanese masters Mizoguchi

and Ozu to the French and Czechoslovak new waves to the avant-garde works of Stan Brakhage or Jeff Keen to blaxploitation, kung-fu, video nasties and B-movie sci-fi.
