Cultural treasures reimagined. The Compass crew has been programming exciting and diverse events since 2007.

With an annual festival/ show in Bristol, our events combine film, circus, performance and music, with interactive installations to create multi-disciplinary, immersive events. Starting life as a film festival hosted by Arnolfini, and subsequently the Watershed, Compass then moved into community and ‘found’ spaces in an effort to work with new audiences and to programme in less traditional perform

ance spaces. Compass additionally programmes themed events at other times of year and outside of Bristol, like the annual Burns Night Supper, and the Compass Presents… tent at Shambala Festival. Interactive installations, such as Compass Teleconfusions, can also be found at Glastonbury and Boomtown Fair. Compass Presents is currently in residency at The Watershed’s Pervasive Media Studio. We are a not-for-profit Community Interest Company (CIC), run by volunteers, and often run collaborative events as an opportunity to work with other creative’s from the South West and London.

We’re looking for reliable, hardworking volunteers for our Bar & Front of House team. Join us at this exciting moment, as we launch our new Spiegeltent home, flush with the usual Compass wildness + new aerial circus magic ✨

📅 Dates: Thu 27th - Mon 31st August 2026
⏰ Shifts: Two shifts over two days (6.5-8 hours each)

What You’ll Do: 🍹 Make cocktails & serve drinks 🥂 Collect glasses & keep things clean ✨ Bring the Compass love to Shambalans visiting the venue
