A very good win today for the HUFC Lions. The work rate was phenomenal and with a few players out still went out and smashed it. The passing and team play is a joy to watch. James got Parents’ MOTM for non stop work and 2 goals and Caleb got managers for being solid at the back and a very dominant performance. Well done all the lions, James and Caleb! 💚👏🏻

A real game of two halves again this week against Fiveways Athletic for the HUFC U8s. Hollywood ran outside of steam in the second half and conceded a few quick fire goals to lose. A really good effort though and a few goals scored, with some of them being excellent team goals. Well done all - the development as a team is really starting to show now. Congratulations to Archy on being voted player of the match this week. A really well taken goal and a big threat throughout the first half in particular. Well done 8s and Archy! 💚

Hollywood United Vipers U11s vs Boldmere Falcons. A fantastic comeback and a brilliant result for the Vipers in this morning’s CWYFL Development fixture! The boys got off to a rocky start, conceding three goals inside the opening 10 minutes, with the early kick-off certainly not helping! But the response from the lads was outstanding. Vipers fought their way back into the game, with Harrison in fantastic form in front of goal, scoring crucial comeback goals in the first half to get the boys back into the contest! The boys came out with a completely different mindset. The work rate went up, the passing improved, and the team really started to click.
The Vipers took control and delivered a brilliant second-half performance! MOTM went to Harrison. He was outstanding today, not only with his crucial first-half comeback goals but also with his non-stop graft, relentless work rate and determination throughout the entire game. He never stopped running, kept battling for the team and led by example when the boys needed it most. A brilliant all-round performance, Harrison!
Well done Vipers and Harrison! 💚💥

HUFC Pumas battled hard against league leaders Alvechurch but ultimately fell to defeat. Despite going behind early, the Greens showed great character in the second half, with Liv scoring a superb goal after excellent work from Maeva. Rémy came agonisingly close to adding a second, striking the post, but Alvechurch’s physicality and quality proved decisive. Plenty of positives to take from a determined performance against strong opposition.
Players of the Match
Parents Player went to Liv with being a fantastic outlet on the left, winning her duels, linking up play and scoring a superb goal with a brilliant turn and finish.
Coaches’ Player went to Eva for being excellent at full-back, battling tirelessly against strong opposition and delivering searching passes to create attacking opportunities. A well-deserved recognition of her recent fine form. Well done Pumas, Liv and Eva! 💚
