I started collecting Vhs tapes as a 12 yr old. Endless hours spent at the video shop admiring everything. �
Soon filled by a desire to relive childhood nostalgia and buy things I couldn’t afford as a kid, 30 years in and I have amassed stuff the kid in me could only dream about. This group is for everyone post your Steelbooks etc share and enjoy the movies that mean the most you to. There is an ex

citement to collecting Steelbooks. Post and share the excitement of spinning, mail call, and your new purchases. Just getting to connect with others on something as simple as a piece of plastic that plays movies is terriffic! I’m sure very soon this group will have Tons of new members. This way we are all close to each other if we want to buy and sell anything. Importing is so expensive. Here We can share discs that would be otherwise unobtainable, for this I am grateful. New mail. The last time I saw this film I was a teenager, I’m glad MGM decided to release panther on Blu-ray .. it deserves it a film that kind of disappeared after dvd release. There’s probably more than one good reason Pantherhasn’t been released for so long. Perhaps due to some scenes that too closely resemble current events, its controversial theory about the end of the Panther Party or just that it’s dated and nearly complete nonsense (Bobby Seale himself agrees with this). No one can say for sure. Panther, being part biopic, part political/action thriller, and only partly true, is a good place to start one’s look into the real story of Huey, Bobby, the Black Panther Party, and the things that they actually did do. Good or bad, the truth is out there, in book and documentary film form. Peace.

New mail. I remember seeing the iconic poster of this film, in every video shop on my way to school. I first watched it when I was 11!! It stuck in my mind… I thought JCVD was amazing… and slowly became a big fan. For such an old film with a small budget, the 4k came out perfectly.. this steelbook lenticular wasn’t easy to find in the aftermarket.. but finally it’s mine.

This film seemed rushed, saying that I thought it was better than the sixth entry, which became a little too silly when at least one or more characters were stabbed like four maybe five or more times, but miraculously didn't die. I know they're not meant to be taken too seriously which is largely why I don't mind this franchise, and I'm surprised they've managed to get this much mileage out of them . Scream 7 on a positive note has some of the best kills from the scream franchise… but this film as a whole lacked direction and that ending .. wow 😤.

I haven’t been to see films twice in 2 days in years , but scary movie and masters of the universe deserved my time. I grew up watching he- man and had all the toys. I loved the 1987 dolph lundgren version too. The new film was a lot of fun. A bit clunky, but . Skeletor was the best thing in it by a mile. Very cheesy , very funny and very entertaining… pure nostalgia and a film I’ll happily watch again 8/10.

The Wayans Bros are back .They did a good job with the writing I thought, with only possession films to parody as that’s what we have had in the horror genre for the past decade or so. Plus I was expecting an all out assault lol on the new generation of x z times squared 😂 I feel they held back somewhat. I really enjoyed the meta about legacy characters at the end. Those who get it, get it. Those who don’t, won’t. It was a 7/10 for me. It’s easily the 3rd best out of the 6 but parts 1 and 2 remain classics of the parody genre.
