Next Thursday's film (June 04) is Wuthering Heights (15).
This is the steamy, modern adaptation of Emily Brontë's gothic novel that focuses on the intense, destructive, and forbidden love between Cathy and the orphan Heathcliff. Driven by obsessive passion Heathcliff returns to seek vengeance for past injustice.
The UK Film Review critic said, “The film is gorgeous. Margot Robbie is truly excellent as Cathy, in turns cruel, selfish and vulnerable, and Jacob Elordi smoulders as Heathcliff. The result is dazzling. The costumes, set design, framing, photography all deliver a lush spectacle.”
Booking is on-line here: https://boxoffice.stgeorgeshall.org.uk/ or at the café in St George's Hall. Alternatively call the Hall's office on 01299 400110.
On Thursday doors to the Hall's café bar open at 6.45 pm and the film will start, without preamble or promotions, promptly at 7.30 pm.
