REMOTE APPLEBY is run by volunteers and is a not for profit organisation. Remote Cinema is a scheme funded by the Big Lottery and offered to villages in Eden, by Eden Arts and Cine North. We've raised money for a permanent screen installed in the Public Hall, and all future profits will go towards a new sound system and an even better night out for everyone!

Last Saturday we showed the last film of the season, The Choral, to a sell out crowd!
Whilst the audience enjoyed their Yorkshire High Tea, we were entertained with some great music and singing by Middle Eden Voices.

The committee will be meeting in a couple of weeks to choose the films for the Autumn season. Watch this space for news…

A big thanks again to our hard working volunteers, to all our caterers this past year and most importantly to our wonderful audience for supporting their local cinema.
