πŸ† The Content Creators Jury has chosen to award the short film πΆβ„Žπ‘Žπ‘›π‘”π‘–π‘›π‘” π‘…π‘œπ‘œπ‘šπ‘  (𝐢𝑒 π‘žπ‘’π‘– π‘Žπ‘π‘π‘Žπ‘Ÿπ‘‘π‘–π‘’π‘›π‘‘ π‘ŽΜ€ πΆπ‘’Μπ‘ π‘Žπ‘Ÿ) by Violette Gitton.

Comprised of Shruti Nagesh ( / English-speaking account), J. Alejandro ChÑvez ( / Spanish-speaking account), and Jovan Vasiljević ( / English-speaking account), the jury praised a "compelling and thought-provoking film, brilliantly told through the eyes of a child navigating a moment of profound realization.

Marius Plard’s outstanding performance brings a beautiful vulnerability to the role, making his journey all the more impactful. The film explores the formation of toxic masculinity and the way seemingly innocent childhood games can lead to painful consequences. The decision to centre the narrative on the boy’s perspective, rather than his sister’s, adds depth to the storytelling, reinforcing the film’s powerful reflection on identity, personal values, and the lasting influence of both internal and external environments.”

πŸ‘ Congratulations to Violette Gitton and the entire team behind her short film !

πŸ† The International Press Jury has awarded Best Feature Film to π‘‡β„Žπ‘Ÿπ‘œπ‘’π‘”β„Ž π‘‘β„Žπ‘’ π‘π‘–π‘”β„Žπ‘‘ (π‘„π‘’π‘–π‘‘π‘‘π‘’π‘Ÿ π‘™π‘Ž 𝑛𝑒𝑖𝑑) by Delphine Girard.

Composed of foreign journalists Elisabeth Vincentelli (The New York Times – USA), Yuko Tanaka (Kinema Junpo – Japan), Boyd van Hoeij (Screen International – UK), Marco Consoli (freelance – Italy), and Gonzalo Lira (El Heraldo TV – Mexico), the jury praised this thriller that "transforms into a gripping social drama exploring issues of consent, guilt, self-knowledge, and female solidarity.

Using the tools of cinema, including judicious editing and an exemplary use of sound, as well as expertly judged performances, the film asks questions that don’t always have clear-cut answers, leaving it up to the audience to consider and judge what has happened."

πŸ‘ Congratulations to Delphine Girard and the team behind π‘‡β„Žπ‘Ÿπ‘œπ‘’π‘”β„Ž π‘‘β„Žπ‘’ π‘π‘–π‘”β„Žπ‘‘ !

✨ The International Press Jury also wished to award a special mention to π‘€π‘Žπ‘Ÿπ‘  𝐸π‘₯π‘π‘Ÿπ‘’π‘ π‘  by JΓ©rΓ©mie PΓ©rin, that "paints a complex, vivid vision of life in 2200 and digs into thought-provoking issues relating to personhood and the boundaries between human and artificial.
PΓ©rin adroitly juggles philosophical concerns and outer space action, reminding us that our current decisions will have far-reaching consequences."

πŸ† The Grand Prix of MyFrenchFilmFestival 15th edition has been awarded to π‘‡β„Žπ‘’ π·π‘Ÿπ‘’π‘Žπ‘šπ‘’π‘Ÿ (πΏβ€™π»π‘œπ‘šπ‘šπ‘’ π‘‘β€™π‘Žπ‘Ÿπ‘”π‘–π‘™π‘’) by AnaΓ―s Tellenne, produced by Koro Films and distributed by Be For Films.

This year’s juryβ€”Zar Amir, Viggo Mortensen, NoΓ©mie Merlant, Tarik Saleh, and Andrey Zvyagintsevβ€”unanimously selected this β€œcaptivating work of cinema” granting it a €15,000 prize shared between the director, producer, and international distributor.

β€œWith its richly textured photography, the film evokes the beauty and wonder of a modern fairytale. We were particularly moved by the authenticity of its mise-en-scΓ¨ne, anchored in the realism of its settings and human behaviour. πΏβ€™π»π‘œπ‘šπ‘šπ‘’ π‘‘β€™π‘Žπ‘Ÿπ‘”π‘–π‘™π‘’ (π‘‡β„Žπ‘’ π·π‘Ÿπ‘’π‘Žπ‘šπ‘’π‘Ÿ) is a poem that arrives unheralded and lingers in the heart like a song.”

Cedric Kahn speaks about his feature film "Making of"

🎬 Simon is shooting a movie about some workers' struggle to save their factory. But between his producer's scheming, the self-absorbed actors, and cranky technicians, he soon finds himself in over his head. Left to fend for himself by his investors, Simon faces labor disputes with his own crew. AnaΓ―s Tellenne talks about her first feature film "The Dreamer" ("L’Homme d’argile")

🎬 Raphaël has only one eye. He's the caretaker of an uninhabited manor. Almost 60 years old, he lives with his mother in a small bungalow at the entrance of the grand bourgeois estate. Between hunting moles, playing bagpipes, and going for drives in the postwoman's car, the days go by ever unchanging. One stormy night, Garance, the heiress, returns to the family home. Nothing will ever be the same again.
