Composer Arnaud Toulon was in Les Arcs to present his work on the original score of Arco, Ugo Bienvenu’s animated feature film. The film was presented last year in Cannes and Annecy festivals, and just received 4 nominations for the Cesars, including Best Original Score, and 1 Oscar nomination for Best Animated Feature.

✨ Revelation Female Film Composer Award

👏 The Revelation Female Film Composer Award was delivered to Léonie Pernet

Jury: Andrea Queralt (4 à 4 Productions), Frédéric Junqua (Juste Éditions), and Susana Poveda (FIP Radio)

This award is a joint initiative between Les Arcs Music Village, Le Lab Femmes de Cinéma and Sacem and aims to recognize, showcase, and support a female film music composer at a pivotal moment in her career

Léonie Pernet also performed for the opening concert of Les Arcs Film Festival on December 13th

The award consists of €10,000 dedicated to the financing of the production of an original composition (€5,000 in-kind and €5,000 in the form of an executive production service)

👏 A special mention was attributed to A Day in the Life of Jo: Chapter Phaedra by Jacqueline Lentzou produced by Avion Films (Greece), Atalante Productions (Greece), Kelek Film UG (Germany), 4 A 4 Productions (France)
