Félicitations à l’équipe de TEAR GAS ! 👏🏻
Présenté pour la première fois en 2019 sous son ancien titre, Love in the Time of Riot, le projet de long métrage percutant d’Uta Beria a remporté le Grand Prix ArrasDays.
Nous sommes ravis de voir ce film ambitieux franchir une nouvelle étape avec sa sélection au Festival de Locarno, où il sera présenté en première mondiale dans la section « Concorso Cineasti del Presente ».
Drame captivant et d’une grande actualité, TEAR GAS suit Elene, une jeune réfugiée géorgienne chassée de chez elle par les russes, qui se retrouve plongée dans un mouvement populaire opposé au pouvoir violemment anti-occidental.
Félicitations au réalisateur Uta Beria, à ses producteurs français Tripode Productions, ainsi qu’à toute l’équipe pour avoir permis à cette histoire importante d’être découverte par le public du monde entier. ✨

We are thrilled to see this ambitious film take another step forward with its selection at the Locarno Film Festival, where it will have its world premiere in the “Concorso Cineasti del Presente” section.
A captivating and highly topical drama, TEAR GAS follows Elene, a young Georgian refugee driven from her home by the Russians, who finds herself caught up in a popular movement opposing a violently anti-Western regime.
