✨ Une soirée placée sous le signe de l'héritage et de la transmission.
À la Cité internationale du cinéma d’animation , nous avons eu l'immense honneur d'annoncer deux initiatives exceptionnelles autour de l'œuvre de Marcell Jankovics.
Grâce à la générosité de son épouse, Eva Rubovszky, plusieurs dessins originaux de Sisyphe rejoindront les collections de la Cité. À partir de 2027, le Prix Marcell Jankovics récompensera également la meilleure réalisation de la compétition Perspectives du Festival d'Annecy.
Une belle façon de préserver un patrimoine unique tout en soutenant les talents qui écriront l'avenir de l'animation.
La soirée s'est poursuivie avec la présence exceptionnelle d'Alfonso Cuarón, venu partager son admiration pour l'un des plus grands maîtres de l'animation à travers la projection du Fils de la jument blanche.

✨ An evening dedicated to legacy and passing the torch.
At the International Animation Film City, we were deeply honored to announce two exceptional initiatives celebrating the work of Marcell Jankovics.
Thanks to the generosity of his wife, Eva Rubovszky, several original drawings from Sisyphus will join the Cité's permanent collection. Beginning in 2027, the Marcell Jankovics Award will also recognize the Best Direction in the Annecy Festival's Perspectives Competition.
A meaningful way to preserve a unique artistic legacy while encouraging the talents who will shape the future of animation.
The evening continued with the exceptional presence of Alfonso Cuarón, who paid tribute to one of animation's greatest masters by presenting Son of the White Mare.
Our heartfelt thanks to Eva Rubovszky and Alfonso Cuarón for helping write a new chapter in the history of the Cité. ✨
