Hey, a little late but we have some great news! We are super proud to announce that FRUITS OF DESPAIR directed by Nima Nassaj won Best International Documentary Award at Drama International Short Film Festival - Φεστιβάλ Μικρού Μήκους Δράμας. A huge congratulations to Nima.

At a moment when governments across Europe and the U.S. are rushing to criminalize deepfake po*******hy, cyber harassment, and image-based abuse, Anatomy of Ordinary Crimes offers a chilling look at how survivors are still having to convince authorities that online abuse is real violence.
This feature documentary by investigative journalist Adina Sadenau follows four women whose lives are transformed by cyber violence, online sexual abuse, and digital humiliation. From different generations and backgrounds, they come to realize their experiences are not isolated, but part of a global epidemic that disproportionately targets women.

As AI-generated abuse, deepfake po*******hy, cyberstalking, and online misogyny make headlines worldwide, Anatomy of Ordinary Crimes reveals the human reality behind the statistics. The film shows how institutions, legal systems, and public opinion continue to minimize these “ordinary crimes,” despite their severe psychological, social, and professional consequences.

Recent developments highlight the urgency of the issue: the UK plans to criminalize sexually explicit deepfakes, new US legislation targets non-consensual AI-generated intimate imagery, and UN Women warns that AI is making online violence against women more sophisticated and harder to prevent.
