Throwback zum East-West Talent Lab, das vom 24.04.-27.04.26 stattfand. Vier Tage vollgepackt mit Workshops, Lectures, Begegnungen und wertvollem Feedback. 🫂
Jedes Jahr lädt goEast junge Dokumentarfilmschaffende aus Mittel- und Osteuropa, dem Kaukasus und Zentralasien sowie Produzent*innen aus Deutschland ein. Im Mittelpunkt stehen Austausch, neue Impulse und kreative Zusammenarbeit: Teilnehmende haben die Möglichkeit, Kontakte zu knüpfen, Projekte weiterzuentwickeln, an Workshops teilzunehmen, Filme zu entdecken und eigene Ideen in inspirierender Atmosphäre vorzustellen.
Wir bedanken uns bei allen Teilnehmenden, bei allen Experts und bei der Jury, die nach den Projekt Pitches am letzten Abend Preise verliehen hat. Preisträgerin des Renovabis Research Grant: Mihaela Drãgan (I ONLY PRAY TO SARA KALI), der Pitch the Doc Award ging an Trëndelina Halili (DREAMS COVERED IN CHROME) und die Special Mention ging an Kyrylo Naumko (ROUND GLASSES).

A look back at the East-West Talent Lab, which took place from April 24–27, 2026. Four days packed with workshops, lectures, networking opportunities, and valuable feedback. 🫂
Every year, goEast invites young documentary filmmakers from Central and Eastern Europe, the Caucasus, and Central Asia, as well as producers from Germany. The focus is on exchange, new inspiration, and creative collaboration: participants have the opportunity to network, develop projects, take part in workshops, discover films, and present their own ideas in an inspiring atmosphere.
We would like to thank all the participants, all the experts, and the jury, who presented the awards following the project pitches on the final evening.
