🇬🇧 Yamaha TX750 – A Great Idea That Didn’t Sell Well
The 1973 Yamaha TX750 had the looks, comfort, and a smooth 743cc parallel-twin engine. It was designed to compete with the best British twins of its era.
However, early models suffered from engine vibration and lubrication issues, which hurt its reputation. Despite Yamaha’s improvements, sales never recovered, and production ended after only a few years.
Today, the TX750 has become a rare and collectible classic—proof that not every great motorcycle was a commercial success.
