We are back! Season 2 of Simply the Worst? is coming in July!

Soon we will be watching movies together again at the Odeon cinema, that are dear to our hearts and ask the hard question: Are they actually that bad? We do not think so, but we are excited to know what you think.

Here is what’s to come on every first Wednesday of the month.

Tomorrow evening the dreams of a Bollywood version of „A Nightmare on Elm Street“ will come true. We screen „Mahakaal“ at 8pm at the Odeon in the original version with English subtitles. “Mahakaal” may only have 3 out of 5 possible points on but if you read a few reviews you know you are in for an incredibly entertaining film. A Bollywood remake of “A Nightmare on Elm Street” with a Michael Jackson impersonator that gets as unhinged as it gets. YES PLEASE!

Tonight we will use magic and put a smile on your face. We screen the super funny musical romcom „Teen Witch“ at Simply the Worst. And this movie is really so good it hurts. Blake Livelys real life big sister struggles through school and not being popular. But when magic comes into her life, everything changes. See for yourself. Tonight at 8pm at the Odeon cinema. Wow, our first Simply the Worst was completely sold out. Thanks to everyone who came and thanks to everyone who stayed and discussed the film with us afterwards. We could have talked for so much longer. Next time! 😂

In April it is all about dancing. Breakdancing! Long before Julia Stiles saved the last dance, we had a young women trying to learn the urban dance style of another culture to combine them into amazing dance moves. We also had to show you this one, so we could one day screen its sequel called Breakin‘ 2 - Electric Bogaloo. 💃🕺🕺🪩🩰
