Wir fühlen uns zutiefst geehrt, dass Kings of Kallstadt nicht nur zu Michael Moores Traverse City Film Festival eingeladen wurde – nein, der Wahnsinn nahm seinen Lauf und wir wurden allen ernstes noch mit dem großartigsten Award ausgezeichnet:

Und dann standen wir noch zusammen mit unserer geliebten Consulting Producerin Kathleen Glynn für die Kings auf der Bühne – das ist schon ziemlich unreal …

Wir sind erstmal voll und dauerhaft aus dem Häuschen. Man kann ihnen gar nicht genug danken …

Die Großeltern des US-Präsidentschaftsbewerbers Donald Trump stammen aus dem pfälzischen Kallstadt. Regisseurin Simone Wendel hat einen amüsanten Dokumentarfilm über den Ort und seinen berühmten Sprössling gedreht.
