Hello all :) Our workshops Acting 4 Ukraine are going full steam ahead in the direction of shooting our 2 short films with our Ukrainian students: A cult horror film and a zombie comedy, on the 7th and 8th of May in PRAGOVKA. As we gear for shooting, we are trying to get some monye for shooting equipment rental from crowdfunding. This weekend we had our 2nd classes with groups 1 and 2 of Acting for Ukraine, where we explored acting techniques and improvisation :) This week our screenwriting tutours will write the scripts we will shoot in 2 weeks, and we will prepare our 3rd class on rehearsal and staging!

We are happy to share that our first 2 classes on movement with Nadezda Nazarova in DAMU this Saturday and Sunday were a lot of fun :) Next week we continue with our classes in acting and storytelling, as we gear towards shooting films with these two groups, in the scope of the project Acting for Ukraine :D Stay tuned for more news and updates!

Our courses for Ukrainian refugees and students "Acting for Ukraine" will start this upcoming Saturday :) It was a pleasure to meet and welcome the 2nd group today, we are excited to work with all of you!

Yesterday's shooting was a success and honestly it felt so good to be back shooting, once again :D It was great fun! A big thank you to our wonderful cast and crew Fyr, Vasco, Antoanella, Nadezda, Baha and Poonam (sorry we didn't take any pics of you, you are here in spirit :D )

As we gear up for the shooting of Murder, She Called, tomorrow, allow us to introduce the kniving pair behind the heinous murder of Agnes Marková: Nadia Sokolova and George Marek.
George, played by Baha Chbani, is an ambitious businessman who married into wealth, but now sees his freedom limited by Agnes' constant need of care.
Nadia, played by Nazarova, is a social climber who has convinced George to murder his wife so they can run away with the inheritance money.

Agnes is crippled by a horrible accident, and completely dependent on her younger husband George, who is misteriously absent in the day she needs him the most...

Murder, She Called!
In our preparation for our next GAS project, we are looking for a man in his 40s to play the role of George, the subservient husband of Agnes, an invalid woman who requires constant care.
If anyone who fits this description would like to take part in our acting workshop with shooting included, feel free to PM us :)
No acting experience required, just the predisposition to play and have fun!
If anyone else would like to help us edit, sound record, light, our doors are always open for meeting and working with new people :)

After a long time (way too long), we are proud to share with you the result of our 6hour acting workshop, the short film Death in the Sun :D We would like to thank all participators for their work in this project, it was a pleasure to be a part of this with all of you!
