"Shoot in Chile" is the result of collaboration between the Association of Advertising Film Producers (APCP Spanish acronym), and the government institutions ProChile which supports national productive sectors in the design and implementation of an international positioning strategy, taking advantage in the international prestige of Chile, and The Chilean Film Commission. The audio-visual industry
and particularly the production service market are highly competitive and dynamic all around the world therefore, Chile is striving to become a major player in this sector. It has many geographical and technical advantages that position itself as a serious international platform. Chile is recognised for its beauty and unique geographical diversity though there are other relevant factors such as reliability, transparency and security of the country. The latest technical equipment and customs facilities are also a significant advantage. More over, the proximity and diversity between locations with very different characteristics are all within two hours of range. Being in the southern hemisphere, Chile is also against seasonality with the northern hemisphere, therefor it can offer many hours of sun and natural light when the north is in the winter season.
