📢 Notice to Residents

The Village of Veteran will be engaging a third-party Bylaw Officer to conduct a community-wide review for bylaw compliance in the coming weeks.

This initiative is intended to help ensure the safety, cleanliness, and overall appearance of our community while promoting fair and consistent enforcement of Village bylaws.

Residents are encouraged to review the Village bylaws, particularly those related to Traffic and Unsightly Premises, to ensure their properties and activities are in compliance.

Notice to Residents – W**d Spraying

The Village would like to advise residents that w**d control spraying will be taking place throughout the community today as part of our ongoing efforts to maintain clean, safe, and well-kept public spaces.

Residents are encouraged to use caution in areas where spraying is underway and to keep children and pets away from treated areas until dry. Weather conditions may affect scheduling or application times.

If you had burn permits and burns this winter, please go check them and make sure they’re good. The wind we had today could have roosted out another one. My eyes scanned the horizon all day. We are in a very vulnerable position right now as ground conditions are not great for heavy trucks full of water. It’s the season of a 1000 stuck fire trucks for another couple weeks. We can’t fight fire stuck in the mud.
