This 1945 Royal KMM had at one point been recovered from an abandoned, crumbling factory and was absolutely filthy. Removing the layers of dirt and grime, making a few adjustments, and replacing some missing small parts revealed a nicely operating machine. It's amazing how robust typewriters can be!
