Thank You for an Amazing Second Day!

A huge thank you to everyone who helped make Day 2 of the Forest Film, Food & Street Festival such a tremendous success!

#1 – The Weather! ☀️
No rain, no cancellations, and nothing but sunshine and blue skies. It set the perfect tone for another fantastic day of activity on King Street and at the Kineto Theatre.

Thank you to all of our vendors who participated in the Street Market, and to Mime Mika for entertaining festival-goers throughout the day.

A special thank you to our daytime food vendors:

And to our evening Street Party food vendors:

* Forest Optimist Club
* Andrea and the team from the Migrant Worker Project and NLCHC- and a little help from friends!

And DJ Bruce who entertained for
two days and filled in while the bands set up and took breaks!

A very special thank you to the Forest Firefighters Association 1888 for all the work you do setting up and running the bar and helping raise some money for Canada Day fireworks !

Of course, none of this would be possible without our dedicated festival committee, volunteers, Kiwanis Club members, and student staff who keep everything running smoothly in both the theatre and on the street.

Finally thankyou to Lambton Shores staff for all you do to help us with this event !

Yesterday, audiences enjoyed three great films, and we have three more outstanding movies showing today!

What an amazing day . Perfect weather, perfect artistic expression with kids’ chalk art , perfect volunteers, perfect gala meal served by Andrew Chef Glen, Cory , and staff , perfect music by Club Django ! Thankyou all for coming to the Kineto !
