About MAA & PAA Theatre

MAA & PAA Theatre creates original theatre that builds on original documents and testimony to tell overlooked stories and depict marginalized Albertans from every stage in our history. It was founded in 2006 by archivist Karen Simonson and theatre artist David Cheoros. The company has premiered fourteen original works based on Alberta history, mostly at the Edmonton Fringe Theatre Festival.
