The Making Waves conference has run since 2010 as the cornerstone of Women in Film and Television - Atlantic's work to advance gender equity in the screen industry. These days WIFT-AT works for equity for gender diverse people as well as as well as women.

To all of you who will pick up the December Buzz, please take note that we had some last-minute unavoidable changes in the schedule. The Website is correct, and see the Cinema notes below. Lots of terrific programming again next month!

Thanks to some quick work by our manager Marshall we have some films booked to replace those just cancelled! Back by popular demand we have Jimmy Carter: Rock & Roll President opening December 5, the Canadian film Kid Detective on December 10, and Ammonite opens a bit earlier than planned on December 17, The Last Vermeer looks like the perfect Boxing Day/holiday film. Watch this space for more details and a few trailers! And don't forget our fun line-up of holiday films in partnership with Discover Charlottetown!
