Sarabande

Sarabande is a costumed ball. There is a strict dress code, but don't let this scare you! For inspiration you can take a look at costumes from Barock, Rococo and historical movies like Marie-Antoinette, The Duchess, Casanova, Dangerous Liaisons,... or let our moodboard guide you. We try to encourage our guests to wear historically inspired costumes, but you are more than welcome in formal evening wear as well. So if your style is historically inspired (like Victorian, Biedermeier, Empire, Rococo, Baroque, etc), neo-romantic, fantasy, elegantly gothic or lolita, steampunk or just formal evening wear, we are delighted to welcome you at Sarabande 2011! On the other hand, out of respect for those guests that put a lot of effort in their costumes, we do not allow entry to casually dressed people. If you have a cloak, you can leave it at our wardrobe free of charge.
