These side tables originated from salvaging tree trunks that were once destined to become firewood, but carried too much character to disappear. For months they rest in the workshop, until their shape reveals itself, always respecting their natural asymmetry.

After sanding, charring, and oiling, dark, tactile objects emerge in which grain patterns, cracks, and growth rings preserve their story: simple materials that, through time and craftsmanship, embody a quiet, enduring presence.

This large elm table got it’s deep colour from oak. While this seems contradictory, I actually extracted the colour from oak using an natural acidic solution. After, I’ve impregnated the elm with this colour. This really accentuates the depth and texture of the wood.

This object is made from an exceptionally reclaimed counterweight that was kept underwater for ten years in a veneer workshop, causing the wood to weather deeply and turn almost entirely black.

Instead of discarding it, the block was meticulously brushed, cleared of loose particles, and lightly oiled so that both the rough traces and a soft sheen remain visible. Thanks to two supporting beams with hidden wheels, the massive volume appears to float and radiates tremendous strength.

A seating object that is as functional as it is sculptural.

This chair revisits a design by Pierre Jeanneret. The wood is first used as a work surface during a year, developing an authentic, unforced patina.

From a single, time-worn sheet comes a limited series of chairs, featuring charred and oiled surfaces that acquire an unexpectedly gentle depth, combined with cushions made from imperfect leather, allowed to show its scars.

Designing this table was a true artistic journey, where I had the rare pleasure of using timeless blacksmithing techniques. With complete creative freedom, I crafted a piece that perfectly complements the client's home, merging craftsmanship with elegance. The table is adorned with two stunning elm wood planks, showcasing small live edge sections to bring a touch of nature into the piece. This blend of rustic allure and refined sophistication is something I am truly proud of. I'm deeply grateful for the opportunity to bring this vision to life for such an appreciative client. A heartfelt thank you to for making this dream project possible and to for designing the iron base. I shared my vision, and they brilliantly brought it to life.
