Goopy Bagha Productions Limited was formed to serve the common goals of its founders which is to create quality and aesthetically pleasing audio-visual productions with the strength of good storytelling. All of them, by this time, had spent a sufficient time in the mainstream media to understand that such endeavours require a like-minded and strongly interwoven team to succeed. The team initially
came together to produce “Palki”, the first segment of the film “Kingdom of Clay Subjects.”
In the course of the production the whole team realised that the synergy was magnificent and incomparable, and should be given a form to ensure its retention in the future. Afterwards, it was decided that the team would be given an organisational structure and serve as a platform for like-minded film professionals to work from. The name, Goopy Bagha Productions Limited, was chosen to signal that like Goopy Gyne and Bagha Byne, we want to use the magic of film to fulfil our part and target by mixing professionalism, creativity and resourcefulness to provide quality productions of advertisements, corporate audio-visuals, films and documentary. A mix-match of international and local skills, the team targets to become a leading brand in the media and a family of dedicated, inquisitive, resourceful and efficient production people with only one goal in mind; creating entertaining and aesthetically pleasing productions to meet the demands of the market.
