Best part is that entry is free.

We’ll be making claymations, junkmation and playing with puppets, you name it. There will be a small selection of props and backdrops to choose, but feel free to bring come or just make them on the day. Participants will form groups and make some silly, serious or outlandish shorts that we’ll screen at ACE on September 2nd.

Catch ‘You’re the One’ by Andrew Vial this Wednesday at Petersham Bowling Club

A reflective poetic short film all about past moments, from Andrew’s childhood, bike riding around ‘Port Arthur’ and camping near the former penal colony, thinking about the lives of those convicts, imprisoned for petty crimes. Then fast forwarding to his years in shared accomodation, hearing stories of people being abused to those who were conscripted for the Vietnam War and commanded to kill innocent civilians.

From those instances, ‘You’re the one’ was born.

Catch this as well as many other short films this Wednesday from 7pm. Plus there’s live music from RUKI and delicious pub food and craft beer to sink your teeth into.

Tickets available at the door or through our website.
