Formally declaring the FAL project a failure, and if you haven’t asked for a refund please email me with proof of purchase and bank details for funds to be returned to.

I will personally honour every cent, it may not be instantaneous but refunds will be processed in order of receipt my records have less than ten people to be refunded, the rest already have been done as they asked

Travis has been discharged from hospital.

I spent the best part of the last month in there after a visit to emergency just before my birthday. I struggle, but I don’t give up. I am doing better but I am NOT 100%, but I’m back as it’s a critical phase in the L1A1 project. The uppers have finished design and development and I’ve instructed the company to start making the tooling. These are being made here in AUSTRALIA by a small business I’ve been working with to fix issues I can’t get past with offshore development, as a one off. No airsoft companies, no big investors just one broken veteran with a dream.

All I need now is to pay the last bills and await the arrival of the remanufactured uppers and dust covers. It takes as long as it takes. I have zero control over that. When they arrive I will post images, but it won’t be days or weeks but it will be this year.

In the next week I’ll try to make videos of some of the wood kits being reproduced, but I will be working part time on this as my health allows. My intention is to have the rifles in peoples hands this year. All of the disassembly and machining will be done by one guy. Me. Rifles will go out on an as ordered basis. The people who have waited the longest will be rewarded first with delivery or collection.

Just a quick update Travis has been admitted to hospital but will be able to answer basic questions. Travis has suffered from Ptsd from serving overseas with the army and that is what he has been admitted to treat. If you want to buy something there could be delays in dispatching those as he is the only staff member at taidi now. Alternatively if you want an lk58 they are available from Urban Gelball with more products from the taidi range to be added soon. All other staff have moved on to other things in the last 6 months.

Sneak peak at the modification to the upper receiver to make the fal correct, its taken some time but i think it will be so worth it

Ill send real pictures of them as soon as i can.

Also ready are the cocking handle, mag release and some other minor parts

On the browning im still not happy with the fit of the magazines and im working on the fix we are iterating on that to get it right. I think ill go to metal lips for the mags we do next as there just iant the tolerance im happy with right now

The better browning gel blaster lips are here. Ive test fitted one and am ready to fix all your mags now. I can send you a return postage label and ill do the fitting and testing. Or i can send you the lips. (Id prefer to fit them)

Ive had reports of the metal failing at the top of the mag so im adding a drop of loctite. It’s certainly not ideal but in testing it adds some strength to prevent the failure 2 people had. Where the front of the feed tube opened up
