Even though THE DOG STARS has not been a spectacular box office success, everyone who has seen it at The Majestic has enjoyed the movie and found it entertaining and interesting .
It will be on screen this weekend for its last week in Malanda

There are two very special sponsored events/ movies coming to The Majestic on the first weekend of September.
On Saturday 5th September at 2.30pm there is a special screening of BUCKS HARBOUR- a documentary following fishermen young and old in a remote community in Downeast, Maine. It explores how men and boys understand strength, providing for their families, and their place in a changing world. It is directed by acclaimed director Pete Muller. Normal admission prices
On Sunday 6th September at 2.30 pm we have THE BIG BIKE FILM NIGHT, presented by Great Rides of New Zealand , and is obviously aimed at the cycling community - featuring some great events in the world Tickets are premium priced and available on the TRYBOOKING website

STORM BIRD , the movie made right here in FNQ and featuring local stars and shot in Babinda , the Tablelands and Cairns will be back on the Majestic big screen this Friday at 5.15pm and Sunday at 12 noon
Most of the 200 people who attended the first screening thought the movie was most enjoyable!!!!!!!!
