🎨 ONE WEEK TO GO UNTIL CRAFTIVAL! 🎨

Our talented Art students are busy designing and creating incredible handmade items ready for Craftival at Redcliffe Library on May 30!

Come along from 9am–2pm to support our students as they showcase and sell their creative works to the community. This is a fantastic opportunity for students to share their artistic talents, build confidence, and experience selling their own creations.

We are so proud of the dedication and creativity already being shown — we can’t wait for everyone to see what they’ve been working on! 🖌️✨

♟️ CHESS TOURNAMENT ♟️

Over the past 4 weeks, our CBSHS students battled it out in an exciting chess tournament filled with strategy, focus and great sportsmanship.

The winners are as follows:
The 1st place winners will have their names engraved on the large trophy, which will proudly be displayed in the CBSHS office.

Our 1st place winners also took home their own trophies, while 2nd place recipients were awarded tuckshop vouchers.

GREEK THEATRE WORKSHOP 🎭

Our Year 11 and 12 Drama students had the exciting opportunity to take part in a Greek Theatre workshop with Kelly from the Grin and Tonic Theatre Troupe.

Students explored the history, performance styles and conventions of Greek Theatre through engaging practical activities and performance exercises. It was a fantastic hands-on learning experience that allowed students to deepen their understanding of theatre and performance.

Thank you to Kelly for sharing her expertise and inspiring our Drama students! 👏
