Swap screen time for green time.
Feeling like you spend too much time indoors, scrolling through the same old things?
There's a better way to spend a few hours of your week. A way to disconnect from the noise and reconnect with something real.
We’re talking about getting your hands in the soil, breathing in the fresh air, and hearing the sounds of the Aussie bush instead of notifications. Here at the Goodness Enterprises Chuwar Conservation Reserve, we have a beautiful stretch of local bushland that offers the perfect escape.
This isn't just about work; it's about wellbeing. It's a chance to clear your head and do something positive for yourself, your community, and the environment all at once. Our reserve is a stunning green space along Sandy Creek, home to native flora and fauna, including our precious koalas.
We’re building a community of volunteers who believe in the power of nature and the power of connection. We get together, work on restoring this vital habitat, and enjoy the simple satisfaction of making a difference.
As a volunteer, you'll get to:
- Spend meaningful time outdoors in a beautiful, natural setting
- Meet new, like-minded people from the Ipswich area who share your passion
- Learn new skills related to conservation and land care
- Feel the mental and physical benefits of being active in nature
- Be part of a friendly and supportive team
Forget the gym for a day. Leave the phone in your pocket for a bit. Come and join us. Whether you can give a few hours a week or a day a month, your time makes a huge difference. It’s a fantastic way to break up your routine, reduce stress, and find a new sense of purpose.
Ready to trade the blue light of your screen for the green of the bush? We’d love to have you.
