Ethnocineca - International Documentary Film Festival Vienna www.ethnocineca.at The main goal of ETHNOCINECA is to build a bridge between anthropological discourse/insights and a broader public through film.

Under the guiding theme „we need to see the world from as many perspectives as possible“, ETHNOCINECA understands documentary cinema as a platform for transcultural encounters and intercultural exchange. The movie theater is thus used as a meeting place and provides a forum for active discussions and reflections between the audience, filmmakers, scientists and other experts in the field.
