Im Pitching-Workshop können Filmemacher*innen ab 16 an der Präsentation ihrer Filmidee arbeiten. Im dreistündigen Workshop bekommen sie Feedback, sowie hilfreiche Tipps, um ihren Film so überzeugend wie möglich vorzustellen.
Beim Pitching-Wettbewerb bringen die Teilnehmer*innen des Workshops ihre Filmideen live vor Publikum und Jury auf die Bühne! Gesucht werden das kreativste Konzept und der beste Auftritt.

Sophia Hochedlinger, who grew up in Upper Austria, lives in Vienna. Since completing her studies in time-based and interactive media art at the University of Art and Design Linz, she has been working with film and video as a screenwriter, director, and editor. She currently works as a facilitator at Community Building Austria and is a student in the Art and Media program at the Academy of Fine Arts. Until 2026, she served as co-director of YOUKI—the International Youth Media Festival in Wels.
Gabriela Gažová is a filmmaker, visual artist and a curator based in Vienna. Across various media she explores themes of rebellion, female and q***r experience, humor and socially critical storytelling. Her short coming-of-(r)age film M won an award at Kino Trampkach in Warsaw festival and was screened internationally. She is currently developing her first feature film and working as a program coordinator for Vienna Shorts festival.
Zu gewinnen gibt es eine Residency bei der Filmschool des Medien Kultur Haus. Diese umfasst ein Produktionsbudget, professionelles Equipment und tatkräftige Unterstützung bei der Umsetzung deines Projekts.
