The Lego Group acquires BrickLink, the leading website for selling used Lego bricks.
BrickLink announces that by the end of January, 35 countries will be unable to buy or sell Lego bricks, including Argentina. In Argentina, there is no Lego Store or Legoland, the Lego website no longer ships to our country, and to make matters worse, Lego is ceasing support for communities (Lego User Groups), including the only one in Argentina.
Bricklink is the only way to get pieces for our creations and exhibitions.
The Lego Group is experiencing its best commercial moment ever, with record profits, and has no excuses for its decisions.
Increasingly, flaws in its quality control are being reported, such as bricks with different color tones within the same set.
The false inclusion of Lego is pure sarcasm; it masks a company that is only interested in money, cutting costs and increasing set prices.
On the other hand, Chinese brands are offering increasingly better quality, lower prices, and trouble-free shipping to Argentina. Understand that AFOLS is a group that contributes a lot of money to Lego, and honestly, Lego disappointed me as a fan. I don't understand why they made the BrickLink decision, but in the long run, it's going to backfire on them.
