Part 2 – Belgium Dealer 🇧🇪
I’m very happy to introduce our new dealer in Belgium.
In this second part, I’m sharing Pierre’s words about their project:
The Thistle N' Rose adventure began in July 2024.
Born out of the passion of a young couple of musicians, Pierre and Cynthia, who are enthusiasts of Scottish and Celtic culture in the broadest sense, this small Belgian business initially focused on selling bagpipes and everything needed to play and maintain the instrument.
It then expanded into musicians’ clothing, from ghillies and brogues to glengarry hats and all manner of accessories. A kilt-making service is available: your measurements are taken in-store (or sent by you via the website) and sent to Scotland, from where your chosen kilt in genuine tartan will be returned to you. It is also worth noting that all items available in the shop come from Scotland (with a few exceptions for certain piping accessories); this is a point of honour that is emphasised and will always be upheld.
An events division is also active in organising small events such as Ceilidhs, where the musical entertainment is mainly provided by the owners and their fellow musicians.
Since January 2026, a food and drink division called ‘Thistle N' Rose - Taste O' Scotland’ has been offering you the chance to discover the flavours of Scotland and Ireland with leading brands such as Irn Bru, Walkers, McVities, Tunnock’s, Buchanan, Keogh’s, Guinness, Murphy’s, Beamish, and more.
Come and discover this ambitious business, which is determined to grow and thrive by combining passion with the promotion of Scottish culture – something so dear to Cynthia and Pierre’s hearts."
