Cause and Effects of Social Platform Media... We are doomed, to say the least!

In the realm of screens and glowing light,
We craft our lives, both day and night.
Profiles polished, posts so bright,
Seeking likes, in digital delight.

Yet beneath this sheen, a hollow sound,
A lonely echo that goes around.
For in the quest to be admired,
True connection has expired.

We’re avatars in a virtual show,
Pretending depth, but shallow below.
Our egos puffed, we strut and preen,
In a world where truth is seldom seen.

A sea of friends, yet none to hold,
In the warmth of hearts grown cold.
We chase illusions, shadows thin,
Forgetting where the real joys begin.

So laugh at this grand charade,
This dance of pixels, fleeting parade.
For true joy lies not in virtual cheers,
But in the love that calms our fears.

In the maze of modern life,
Social media breeds the strife.
Egos swell with every post,
But what is gained? A fragile boast.

We seek approval, fleeting fame,
In a world that plays a shallow game.
Connections lost in endless scroll,
Where is the truth to make us whole?

Behind the filters, masks we wear,
Hiding hearts that seek true care.
We’re tangled in this web of lies,
Blind to the depth of real ties.

The likes, the shares, they feed our pride,
But leave us empty, cold inside.
For in this chase of hollow praise,
We drift in superficial haze.

Let’s step beyond this surface play,
See the world in a clearer way.
For genuine bonds are born in light,
Of honest hearts and open sight...
