Way too long since my last post... The last independent work I did was creating animations for a tower defense game. I've made three towers so far, which I think is enough for now, but I want to start creating animations for the enemies now. Can't wait to get round to it!

This is my go-to podcast for information about people working in the creative industry, and how they go about doing what they do. Read the episode descriptions to find interviews with motion designers or related fields. The host, Ash Thorp (http://www.ashthorp.com/), is an amazing artist himself, allowing him to get hold of other leaders in the industry.

And the episodes are long and uncut, not overproduced and leaving you wanting for more. Really worth it.

This page is finally getting a revamp. The idea before was to have a place where Capetonians could come together and chat about Cinema 4D and while this page kept getting likes over the years even though it was no longer actively posted to, it has become clear that there isn’t a demand for this page.

What Cape Town needs urgently, though, is a place where they can find out about more about Motion Graphics, where questions could be asked and where people can connect. This is not a complete breakaway from Cinema 4D, but this page now also incorporates After Effects and whatever else could be used by motion designers.

The revamp of this page is still on the cards, but I'm looking to do it right instead of rushing it. Worst case scenario we're looking at June this year. There will also be a sister page handling the same for After Effects. Chat soon, all!

This page will get a revamp early in 2016 as we change our focus from building a community (a tough task in Cape Town) to training. Organised C4D training in a variety of intensities and scale will be launched during the course of 2016. Watch this space!
