shared session for two students (prices per lesson)

Saturdays group classes for maximum six students
(teens and adults only)

Parental permission for students under the age of 18 years.
Please note these times are subject to change due to film production schedules but happy to work with anyone from anywhere who has a passion to act.
Payment must be made 24 hours in advance and no refund. And changes to time are allowed where available.

A LITTLE HISTORY
Since 1987 Kim Gelvin has taught acting to all ages from 5 years to 70 years for the Hudson Valley Shakespeare Festival in New York and New Jersey, and privately for the Indian Mountain School, the Montessori Cobb School and Impact in Connecticut, The Dallas Theatre in Dallas, Texas, Margo Manning Casting and Acting Studio in Los Colinas, Dallas, private coaching and group classes for KGM Casting and Acting Studio, Shakespeare’s Sisters, Artifacts next to The Malt House, Southbank, Melbourne, Linda’s Rising Stars, and Jan Sheedy School of Grooming in Melbourne, to name a few.
Kim has judged the best casting for the prestigious AACTA AWARDS
For all of Australian film and television in 2021,
Best New Young Talent for the AFI Awards in 2006, and judge for the play writing competition, “Short and Sweet” at the Melbourne Arts Centre and for The Young playwright talent competition at the Saint Martin’s Theatre 2009.
With film credits and awards that include Oliver Stone’s Oscar winning feature film “Born On the Fourth of July”, short films, “An Art Form Is Born”, “LOOP” and “Seething Night” which all won international film festivals awards, as well as cast Amnesty International, and Sony commercials and many more.
Kim Gelvin is also a highly acclaimed theatre director and producer for such plays as
Remember Ronald Ryan, 360 Positions In A One Night Stand, Miss Julia,
and The Four Poster, and for numerous virtual theatre and television productions in Second life.
Kim has penned and produced adaptations of the short stories Fantastic Mr. Fox
And The Yellow Wallpaper, as well as written numerous plays, television pilots, and screenplays like
“The Paper Wall”, Autumn Moon, Wizard of the North, Letting Go, and Guardian 11:11 and 2 Be Witched.
