The Jiro Films production company consists of Roman Lapshin and Alex Stoupenkov. In 2010, we found another company with the same name on the internet.
The company was christened Spotlight Productions in 2009 but had to change names due to copyright issues. It started with our very first Youtube account, OperativesTheSeries - whose sole purpose (at first) was to release Operatives our first film creation as a team. However as time progressed we started putting more varieties of films onto the account. That meant that we wouldn't be able to contin
ue without buying out the other company's name if we wanted to keep it. So we decided to create a new company name - and start from scratch. JiroFilms was born.
