Hazon, which means vision, is the Jewish Lab for Sustainability, working to create a healthier and more sustainable Jewish community, and a healthier and more sustainable world for all. The film highlights their many important programs that engage individuals and institutions to meet the most complex challenges of our times.

Films for Non-Profits was pleased to produce this new film for the Hunter College Undergraduate Student Government to raise awareness and educate people about sexual assault on college campus.

This "Student Stand Up" campaign has not only impacted the Hunter College community, but it has also impacted the students that were directly involved. Going beyond the scope of what this campaign was about, these students internalized what it means to truly be compassionate and understanding in the face of the trauma students would face alone. As a result, the Hunter College community can now truly say that they do rise up and stand up, in solidarity with those who have experienced sexual harassment of any form.

Films for Non-Profits is thrilled to welcome award-winning filmmaker Sandi Perlmutter to it's production team.

Sandi is a New York based filmmaker who, for over two decades, has written and produced television shorts and promos for such clients as Bravo, AMC, Turner Broadcasting, MuchmusicUSA and Fuse. She has created TV segments for European TV including ZDF and ARD/Germany, SRD/Switzerland and RAI/Italy. Sandi also produced the award-winning documentary Russell Means: Born Again Primitive, a Swiss/German co-production. Sandi recently completed her first documentary, Gotta Have Heart, now playing on the film festival circuit.

Mixing the soundtrack at Bridge + Water Productions for new film, WHAT GOES UNSAID, which we made for National LGBT Cancer Network. The film will train doctors on how to treat transgender patients and will, we hope, correct the huge health disparity in the transgender population.

Films for Non-Profits is so proud to have just completed two days of shooting on "What Went Unsaid". This short scripted film for the National LGBT Cancer Network and funded by the NYS Department of Health, will be used to train healthcare providers to offer better care to transgender patients. Many thanks to National LGBT Cancer Network Executive Director, Liz Margolies for this special opportunity to expand awareness and create improved health opportunities for all. Thanks as well to the wonderful cast who played transgender and gender nonconforming patients: Pooya Mohseni, Brian Michael Smith and Justin Torres as well as my creative partner, Phyllis Famiglietti and producer, Joel Lilje.
