Hey guys.....been a while I know. But you know when I am on it is because of a great movie.

The Unforgivable is one in which Sandra Bullock takes the lead role. This 2021 Drama/Thriller shows the reaction of society to an individual who served her time but isn't forgiven. But a deep insight would reveal that it is one of love of a sibling and doing what it takes to protect them.
I must warn you that it is filled with expletives. So be forewarned. It is 1 hour and 54 minutes long and can be seen on Netflix. Check it out!!

Hey.... It has been a while since I posted...but here is another great movie, Stepmom.
I only decided that it made it to the list not because of how the stepmom, played by Julia Robert's, dealt with her becoming a Stepmom and how she tried to be a peace with the children's mother, but because of the messages the dying mother gave to her children on Christmas day. Applied to real life, it is worth watching by all, especially those battling cancer. It also brings about the point that the portrayal of a stepmother as a wicked person is taboo. They do try to adapt and they deserve credit.

The movie is on Netflix!! Stick with the recommended age...13 and older. Warning...there is a cursing at around 25mins 51 sec.

Storyline: Isabel gets engaged to Luke, a divorcee, and tries her best to keep his children happy. Luke's ex-wife, Jackie, loathes Isabel. However, things change when Jackie gets diagnosed with cancer.

Here is a movie worth seeing.... Neeraja

Movie: Neeraja
Initial release: February 19, 2016 (India)
Director: Ram Madhvani
Screenplay: Saiwyn Quadras
Awards: IIFA Award for Best Performance in a Negative Role, more
Based on a True story.

Neerja Bhanot was the Senior Flight attendant on the infamous Pan Am Flight 73 of 1986. The plane was scheduled to fly from Mumbai to the United States. Before takeoff four hijackers boarded the plane at Karachi airport in Pakistan and held 380 passengers and 13 crew members hostage at gun point in a 17 hour stand off.

When the hijackers demanded the passports of the Americans on board to take those passengers as collateral for a trade Bhanot hid the passports under seat cushions, flushed them down the toilet and threw them down the trash shoot.

Unable to decipher the American passengers from non-American passengers the situation escalated as the hijackers began shooting and detonating explosives. Bhanot deployed the emergency escape doors and began frantically guiding passengers out of the plane.

One of the last to remain, a hijacker grabbed her by her ponytail and shot her point blank while she was shielding three American children from gun fire. She died at 22 the day before her birthday.

She saved the majority of the passengers and the flight crew.

Another death of a top veteran actor, Rishi Kapoor. He battled with cancer in the last two years and succumbed to it at the age of 67.

Rishi Kapoor has many great movies to his name and co starred in many with other top actors as well. Some of the movies include Bobby, Chandni, Karz, Coolie, Kabhi Khabhi, 'Amar, Akhbar, Anthony', Agneepath and many others.

Rishi Kapoor leaves behind his wife Neetu Kapoor, son Ranbir and daughter Riddhima.

Here is a video of the Late Rishi Kapoor in action doing what he loves best...acting and dancing.

LION

A movie about humanity. A movie about families. A movie about determination.

An unforgettable and emotional true story about an adopted boy whose nightly dreams were of him calling out to his brother, "Guddu! Guddu!" and yearning to once again meet his mother and whisper in her ear, "I'm here."

With determination on his mind he had to find his way home.

A reality of the children in India and their lives, especially those from the impoverished areas. A movie that will certainly touch your heart and leave a more to last forever. - Dilip

STILL ALICE

This movie is really a great movie. My grandmother (Nani) had dementia.... As a ten year old I was totally sad and shocked when she looked at me one day and looked at me as a stranger.
"Nani, do you know who I am?"
"No, " she murmured. My heart shattered.

I also lost an aunt to Alzheimers as well. Her loss of memory and change in behaviour was rapid. From a loving, laugh out loud, always enjoying to cook and a neat freak, she withered down to a silent, and lost in her own world individual. She died in her sleep a few years ago.

This movie allowed me to gain such a great insight into this disease. In the movie, a linguistics professor and her family find their bonds tested when she is diagnosed with Alzheimer's Disease.

Alzheimer's disease is a type of dementia that causes problems with memory, thinking and behavior. Symptoms usually develop slowly and get worse over time, becoming severe enough to interfere with daily tasks.

Movie is available on Netflix. .....Enjoy.
