Film Review, Information: “El Hombre”

In 1845 Texas, a snake-bitten rancher is saved by a bearded stranger called El Hombre (Rodolfo de Anda). El Hombre and a gunfighter named El Pistolero (Jorge Rivero) are hired to work on the mans ranch: El Hombre turns out to be the estranged husband of Martha (Susana Dosamantes), one of the rancher’s daughters. The local boss El Amo (Mario Almada) is using renegade Apaches to force the ranchers to sell their land and cattle cheaply. After the Apaches r**e and murder Maria (Rebecca Silva), Marth’s sister, El Hombre kills El Amo’s son. El Amo and his henchmen tie up and castrate the stranger, and hold Martha hostage to force El Pistolero to kill him. When the gunfighter refuses, El Amo kills El Hombre himself, and is then shot to death by El Pistolero.
