In life I have been overly blessed by amazing people being in my life.. as I think back over the weekend my heart could burst! I think back to my first vintage market, the time that I thought I was truly ready for the world.. I remember being ready to go-heart overflowing and then reality hit.. day one not a single person got a blanket.. I cried.. like ugly tears… day 2-a few people bought a blanket- I also met some of my now dearest friends who were also vendors…. Day 3- a little busier.. 31 total blankets sold… which to me is huge! I remember thinking I just wanted to make a difference.. I didn’t care about blankets I wanted people to feel love and hope and the coziness that comes from surrounding yourself with the best.. I think forward to our most recent vintage market and the feeling is the same.. the people that I love-still there.. the people who inspire-still inspiring… life handing out life’s brutal truths-still going strong… 😂 life is nothing if not a beautiful chaos that brings together the perfect storms that either pour down and soak you-or like this weekend give you a glimpse of the sun that might just heal parts of your heart that have been heavy too long.. thank you for being part of my story.. thank you for inspiring me to do and be better.. thank you for supporting my dream that has kept my heart going both physically and emotionally for years… just a reminder that the smallest things 31 blankets turn into some great memories and friendships.. I’d take heart surgery any day if it meant I got all of this… truly lucky to be surrounded by the best.. huge shoutout to the gals who put this on… every year I think they can’t outdo what they did last time and holy hell every-time it’s leveled up to more beauty and perfection than my tiny brain can comprehend.. thank you for allowing me to be part of it… thank you all for getting me to where I am.. from the first to the most recent my ❤️ will always be thankful for life’s cheerleaders, the dreamers.. the ones who bust their booties for a dream most won’t ever understand or work for… grateful for all of you! ❤️ jewels..
