Customer owned pieces always come with a few extra nerves… but this one was absolutely worth it. 🙌

This beautiful butcher block cutting/noodle board came to us ready for a transformation. Brian added the drip tray and hand holds, and then we finished it off with a custom engraving celebrating the Buffalo Bills. 🦬💙❤️

There’s something special about taking a piece that already means something to someone and adding another layer of craftsmanship and personality to it.

And yes… hitting “start” on a customer-owned piece is still the most stressful button in the shop. 😅

There’s nothing quite like the stress of hitting “start” on a customer-owned piece 😅

This beautiful thick butcher block cutting board is officially in the laser and my stomach will be in knots for the next 3 hours while it engraves! Brian worked his magic adding finger holds and a drip tray, and now it’s my turn to make sure the finishing touch comes out perfectly.

Working on customer pieces is always equal parts exciting and terrifying — because there are no do-overs on something this gorgeous! Wish us (and my nerves) luck 🤞🔥

I said I was ready for warmer weather… but apparently Mother Nature took that personally. ☀️🥵

This jump from 0 to 60 overnight is wild enough… but even funnier when our AC has officially decided it’s not participating in summer this year. 😅

So if you see me melting somewhere between “spring sweatshirt” and “why is it 85 degrees already?”… mind your business. 😂

A huge THANK YOU to everyone who stopped by our SCC booth, shopped small, shared kind words, and supported our handcrafted creations. Your support truly means the world to us and helps make days like these so special. 💙

We may have also discovered the secret to a successful winery show… leave Brian at home and bring Lisa instead! 😉🍷 Having a fellow wine lover along for the adventure definitely made the day even more fun.

From the beautiful property and welcoming atmosphere to the absolutely delicious wines, Knapp Winery & Vineyard Restaurant was the perfect setting for a fantastic event. We’re already looking forward to the next one! 🥂
